An Emporia man was killed in a traffic accident in far west Emporia on Monday.
Police Sgt. Lisa Sage says 20-year-old Hayden Miller was found dead after an incident in the 3300 block of West Sixth, or near the intersection of West Sixth and Lantern.
Dispatchers received a call of a wreck involving a person run over by a truck just before 7 am. Sage says the investigation continues, but early indications are Miller was a passenger in the truck, fell out and was run over by the truck.
There is currently no evidence of foul play. A news release does not name the driver. Click here for prior coverage.
