(wrca) The Arndt Ranch/Bailey Ranch rodeo team captured the top team award at the Santa Fe Trail Ranch Rodeo held at Council Grove this past weekend.
Fifteen ranches competed two days for top team, top hand, top horse and event awards.
“We got along good, drew good, and took advantage of it,” says team captain Ryan Arndt. “It’s a good atmosphere, fun time with family, and seeing people we normally don’t get to see that we’ve met along the way. We’re just hoping to win it before we get too old.” The team is looking forward to their 11th year as a competitor at the World Championship Ranch Rodeo.
