Work is completed on a water line which failed near Presby Drive early Monday morning.
According to the Lyon County Emergency Communication Center, city crews were notified to the break just before 5 am. Underground Utilities Supervisor Mike Dvorak tells KVOE News the cause of the break in the 8-inch line was a “small tennis ball size hole” which developed on the top of the line.
Dvorak reports crews completed repairs around 9:45 am and water is back on in the area.

Underground Utilities crews are investigating a water line break that was noticed early Monday.
The Lyon County Emergency Communication Center says city crews were notified about the break near Presby Drive just before 5 am. Other details are pending, including the diameter of the affected pipe, number of residents impacted and possible repair time.
