Drivers northeast of Emporia are working through a road construction zone if they use Burlingame Road.
The Lyon County Highway Department is resurfacing Burlingame Road, with an asphalt milling and overlay project affecting both directions of traffic between Roads 190 and 200.
A flag crew is directing traffic through the work zone. The Highway Department has not said when this project will end.
