The Emporia Farmers Market’s annual ESB Financial Homegrown Celebration is coming this weekend.
This summer has been a fruitful one thus far for the Emporia Farmers Market, and Market Manager Jessica Hopkins hopes to see this trend continue all season long.
Each year, this event celebrates the success of the markets and acts a thank you to the community for shopping locally. Activities will be plentiful with the watermelon games beginning at 9:00 am, the Emporia Arts Center Arts Mobile will be present, the Master Gardeners will have their ‘Sick Plant Clinic’, local artist Hailey East will be offering free portrait caricatures, and much more.
ESB Financial Vice-President Karen Sommers says the bank has enjoyed this partnership over the years.
