A railroad crossing just west of Emporia is closed Wednesday.
The Lyon County Highway Department is closing the crossing at Road G so Burlington Northern Santa Fe crews can make repairs to an unspecified track surface issue.
The crossing will be closed officially from 8 am to 5 pm.
