Two people face formal charges in Greenwood County District Court for allegedly transporting equipment for a marijuana grow operation.
Deputies arrested Andrew and Amber Farris on July 19 as part of a traffic stop as they were driving a moving truck in Eureka. After a positive alert from a K-9 unit, both were taken into custody. Court documents provided to KVOE News indicate the couple had grow lights, drying racks, water tubing, an industrial oven and other equipment in the truck when they were arrested.
Both now face charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy of possessing paraphernalia. First appearances will be at 1:15 pm Aug. 13.
