Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of 12th Avenue and State Street shortly after 2:30 pm. According to Lyon County EMS, the accident involved an SUV and a passenger car. The driver of the car was examined on scene and taken to Newman with undisclosed injuries. Two passengers in the SUV refused transport.
