After reaching the milestone of twenty years servicing local families, the SOS Child Visitation & Exchange Center (CVEC) will be throwing an aquatic celebration for the community.
CVEC offers a comfortable, home-like setting for children and families in need of visitation or monitored exchange services. Director Tara Schnakenberg talks about the CVEC and the demand for their services.
These services assist families in providing children with a safe and comfortable environment, and Schnakenberg says this is integral for these kids.
The free celebration will be at the Jones Aquatic Center on Thursday from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Activities and snacks will be prepared for the event.
