Hearings in two separate cases are coming this week for an Emporia man.
Malik Dorsey, age 19, has a pretrial hearing at 8:30 am Monday on drug possession charges after a traffic stop in early May.
Dorsey also has a preliminary hearing at 2 pm Thursday on seven counts total, including three each of aggravated robbery and attempted aggravated robbery. Dorsey is accused of robbing three people at gunpoint during an incident at an Emporia apartment in late April. Shoes, a purse and belt were stolen, according to court documents provided to KVOE News.
An unnamed 15-year-old juvenile has pleaded no contest to aggravated robbery in the case and has been transferred to Shawnee County Juvenile Detention.
Both hearings will be in Lyon County District Court.
