Thunderstorms brought decent rainfall totals to parts of the KVOE listening area Sunday night and early Monday morning.
The KVOE studios picked up 0.60 inches of rainfall, while the Emporia Municipal Airport got 0.42 inches. Other totals:
*East Emporia: 0.40 inches
*West Emporia: 0.50 inches
*Allen: 0.10 inches
*Between Hartford and Olpe: 0.35 inches
*Madison: 0.60 inches
*Neosho Rapids: 1.5 inches
*Olpe: 0.30 inches
The week ahead should be warm with high temperatures in the mid-80s to around 90. Thunderstorm chances are currently slight for the back half of the work week into the weekend.
