Enrollment at Southern Lyon County USD 252 begins Wednesday, July 31st with construction and facility updates coming to a close on all campuses.
With the fall semester only weeks away from starting, USD 252 Superintendent Mike Argabright talks about the enrollment process and what parents of new and returning students will need.
Enrollment starts Wednesday at noon and will last until 8:00 pm. This comes as facility updates on Hartford, Neosho Rapids and Olpe schools near their completion. Argabright says there are few things left to finish.
The fall semester for USD 252 is tentatively set for August 21st. For anyone who cannot make today’s enrollment timeframe, Argabright says to stop by any of the district’s school buildings or the main office in Hartford.
This is a year of change for the district in other ways. Besides the ongoing construction, the district will formally launch its education redesign efforts. Last year, USD 252 was announced as a Gemini II school as part of the Kansans Can redesign through the Kansas State Department of Education.
