No individuals were transported following a rollover accident in south Emporia Wednesday afternoon.
According to Emporia Police Officer Alex Ford, a mid-2000’s Chevy 1500 Shortbed truck was travelling westbound on south avenue and lost control. For currently unknown reasons the truck then flipped and came to a rest on the driver’s side in an alley at 615 East South Avenue.
Officer Ford says the occupants received minor “bumps and bruises” but did not require hospitalization. The driver of the vehicle was cited for reckless driving, however, additional traffic violations may be cited at a later time.
The truck had to be towed from the scene.
