Relay for Life of Flint Hills will be honoring cancer survivors and their caregivers on September 14th with the Relay for Life Survivor Dinner.
RFL of Flint Hills holds this event every year to not just honor those affected by cancer, but to also raise money for the American Cancer Society.
RFL of Flint Hills Organizer and Spokesperson Melanie Curtis talks about why the event is important for cancer survivors.
The Relay for Life event will start at noon with check-in for the dinner beginning at 4:30 pm and the actual dinner at 5:30. Immediately following the dinner will be a lap for just survivors and caregivers.
