A pretrial hearing has been set for next week in the case of an Emporia teen facing aggravated robbery and related charges.
19-year-old Malik Dorsey waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Lyon County District Court Thursday afternoon. A pretrial hearing has been set for August 6th at 2 pm.
Dorsey is facing seven counts total, including three each of aggravated robbery and attempted aggravated robbery. Dorsey is accused of robbing three people at gunpoint during an incident at an Emporia apartment in late April. Shoes, a purse and belt were stolen, according to court documents provided to KVOE News.
