Organizers of the annual Denim and Diamonds Gala are getting set for a sellout evening.
Newman Regional Health Director of Business Development McKenzie Cinelli says earlier this week they had to add three additional tables to the event’s layout to meet the number of individuals who will be attending. For those who have not purchased a ticket to attend the tenth annual gala Friday evening, Cinelli says there are still a few available.
On top of the pre-event ticket sales, Cinelli says they are also expecting a good number of individuals to purchase tickets at the door. Cinelli says the pre-event schedule and the work of supporters and sponsors were major contributing factors to the expected turnout on top of this being the ten year anniversary of the event.
Cinelli adds they have a great lineup of entertainment and items for both their silent and live auctions which will help make this year’s gala stand apart from year’s past.
The Denim and Diamonds Gala will be held at the Memorial Union’s Webb Hall at Emporia State University starting at 7 pm. Tickets are available at $60 each and $400 for a table of eight. All proceeds this year help the hospital buy new anaesthesia equipment. The hospital administers over 2,500 surgical anaesthetic procedures each year.
