Gentry Scheve, a senior to be at Emporia High School, won the Emporia Mens City Golf Championship.
Scheve finished the 2 day tournament with a 10 under par and won by 4 strokes over Chad Buchholz.
Scheve followed his first round 64 with a 69 at the Emporia Country Club. He was tied with Chad Buchholz after 13 holes Sunday. It was after an eagle on 14 that Scheve know he had a shot at winning.
Chad Buchholz finished in 2nd place and Caleb Schmidt finished in 3rd place finishing at even par.
Luke Thompson won the first flight. Steve Neill won the 2nd flight and Caden Massey won the 3rd flight.
Carol Krueger won the Emporia Womens City Golf Championship.
She finished the 2 day tournament with a 182 after finishing with an 88 Sunday.
Robin Skeens finished in 2nd place, Joy Haegert finished in 3rd place.
