Local law enforcement is in search of a hit and run suspect from an incident Tuesday morning.
According to Emporia Police Sergeant Lisa Sage, a hit and run occurred at Simmons Pet Food at 1400 East Logan Avenue just after 11 am Tuesday morning. According to the report, a semi-hit another trailer and then left the scene heading eastbound on Logan Avenue.
The suspect vehicle is a blue semi hauling a white trailer with red lettering on the side. The driver is a white male with the first name James, the driver’s last name is currently unknown.
The truck will have damage to the passenger’s side. If you locate the vehicle you are aksed to contact the Emporia Police Department at 620-343-4225.
