The NCAA has announced that Emporia State track & field All-American Brianna Schmitz has been selected as the MIAA’s nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year.
In June, Schmitz was named as the Ken B. Jones winner, the Association’s top female student-athlete. She is just one of 148 women to be considered for the award from a pool of 585 school nominations in all three NCAA Divisions.
