The Emporia AAA American Legion baseball team will be playing in the Mid South Regional at Hastings, Nebraska beginning Wednesday.
For Coach Anthony Markowitz it has been a rewarding season.

Post 5 will play Post 253 out of Festus, Missouri in the 1pm game. The tournament wraps up Sunday with the winner advancing to the American Legion World Series.
This is the 3rd regional tournament appearance for the Emporia AAA Legion. They played in the regional tournament in 2001 and 2011.
