The Lyon County Fair schedule kicks into high gear Wednesday evening.
The 4-H rodeo and start of the carnival kick off 10 days worth of grandstand events and other activities. Fair Board Chair Ken Duft is looking forward to the big events to come. On KVOE’s Talk of Emporia recently, he and fellow board member Jason Birk said there is a lot of hard work involved, both during and before the fair.
KVOE will broadcast live from the fair Wednesday evening and will also resume 4-H reports Thursday morning.
