Kansas and Nebraska played even golf over the last two days at the 34th Annual Kansas-Nebraska Junior Cup.
The match was tied at four after Wednesday and the teams each scored four points Thursday. By rule, the defending Champion — Nebraska– retains the cup.
Thursday morning, Emporian Gentry Scheve wrapped up play losing his Singles match 4 and 3 to Nebraska’s Luke Gutschewski. Wednesday, Scheve and partner Calvin Dillon won their Four-Ball match, 1-Up. The Kansas team went 3-1 in Four-Ball, but was outscored 3-1 in Foursome matches. Scheve and Dillon played Connor Vandewege and Charlie Zielinski All-Square, in their Foursome match.
