Road work will begin Monday near 24th and Industrial.
The intersection has seen a lot of road construction the past two years with Hobby Lobby moving to town in 2017 and the move of Aldi last year. The current project will actually be a bit south of the intersection in front of Walmart as the transition lane currently in front of Aldi is extended to Walmart’s south entrance.
A new sidewalk will also be installed from 24th south past the Walmart lot to connect with another sidewalk near 18th and Industrial.
Cost is estimated at around $220,000. Work could end by Halloween.
