Testimony continues in the first of two sex abuse trials this month for one-time Emporia chiropractor Eric Hawkins.
Both accusers have taken the stand as the trial concluded its second day. The first person, a 16-year-old girl at the time of an alleged incident in 2015, testified Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
In testimony Tuesday afternoon, the second accuser said she had seen Hawkins 15 to 20 times from the fall of 2017 to February 2018 after suffering a back injury. She accused Hawkins of touching her rear end and sliding his hand under her leggings during a visit in February.
Testimony will continue Wednesday. Hawkins stands accused of rape in the case of the 16-year-old and aggravated sexual battery against the 22-year-old.
Next week, Hawkins has a trial scheduled for a sex battery count against a then-32-year-old woman in 2015.
