37 players are out for the Emporia High girls tennis team as they begin a new era with a new head coach.
Among the returnees is Senior Koey Keough a state qualifier last year at singles.
Drina Herrarte who was a regional player last year and state qualifier as a sophomore returns for her senior year.
There is a new head coach Saul Trujillo, who coached the j-v last year takes over as head coach.
The Varsity tennis team opens their season on September 5th.
