Updates and presentations will highlight the Emporia City Commission’s study session Wednesday morning.
April Swarz of Varney and Associates will be in attendance to present the 2018 Comprehensive Annual Financial Review before the commission. Updates on the South Arundel sewer line project and a review of revenue and expenses from the 2019 fireworks show will also be presented.
Commissioners will also hold discussions on Rural Housing Improvement District designations and will perform a review of commission goals during the meeting.
Emporia State University President Allison Garrett is also scheduled to make a presentation before the commission. The meeting is set to begin at 9:30 am inside City Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
