The Emporia High girls gymnastics team has returning to state the main goal for this season. 5 of the 9 gymnasts competed at State last year.
That has Coach Angela Podrebarc excited for the season.
Karalyn Karjala competed all-around at state and is the lone senior on the team.
Hattie Walker, Cadance Vincent, Riley Johnson and Hadleigh Mertens are also state returnees. The Lady Spartans open their season with a duel at Newton September 10th.
