Over 170 youngsters participated in the first ever Hornet Fest Wednesday night at Welch Stadium.
It gave youngsters between 5 and 12 years old a chance to experience sports skills and get to know Emporia State athletes.
Harrison said it was fun.
Edgar also had a good time.
For Emporia State football player Cory Thomas it was also a good experience.
Softball player Destiny Ojigoh was glad to participate.
All 15 athletic teams had stations setup with sports specific activities.
