Friday will be busy in Lyon County District Court.
Robbery suspect Harold Stewart has a pretrial hearing at 2 pm. Stewart faces one count of aggravated robbery for allegedly stealing money from the Max’s BP convenience store on Feb. 19. Court documents provided to KVOE News indicate a man later identified as Stewart advised the store clerk he had a gun and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the man fled.
Stewart was bound over for trial during his preliminary hearing a month ago.
Also at 2 pm is a pretrial hearing for Gustavo Perez-Garcia. He is one of two people accused of three sets of aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery after alleged armed robberies at Casey’s General Store on South Commercial and Angelina’s Fashion Store in early June.
