The Emporia High volleyball team opens their season Tuesday. The Lady Spartans will open with matches against Topeka Hayden and Topeka High.
Senior Paige Thomas says she cant wait to get the season started.
Coach Ashley Nehls is anxious to see how they respond against Hayden a team they have not had success against in past seasons.
The matches will be played at Topeka Hayden.
