Charges including aggravated burglary and aggravated battery have been dismissed against an Emporia man following a hearing in Lyon County District Court.
29-year-old Michael Koy was in district court Wednesday morning for a preliminary hearing following an incident from over a year ago. Koy faced charges after a woman reported Koy grabbed her legs at the top of a flight of stairs and she fell during an argument, according to court documents provided to KVOE News.
During Wednesday’s hearing Koy’s case was dismissed as — according to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman — the accuser is no longer cooperating.
