The Emporia High girls tennis team opens their season Thursday. They will be hosting a 8 team tournament.
Kaitlyn Velazquez will play number 1 singles.
Emily Leihsing will play number 2 singles.
Koey Keough and Drina Herrarte will play 1 doubles. Its a new doubles partner for Herarte.
Sophia Seeley and Alyssa Dix will play 2 doubles.
They will be facing players from Olathe West, Topeka High, Andover Central, Ottawa, Shawnee Heights, Wichita Classical and Desoto.
Play is set to begin at 3pm on the Emporia High courts.
