Chase County deputies are on the lookout for two men who allegedly scammed a restaurant clerk out of money recently.
The Sheriff’s Office says two black males entered the Subway in Strong City on Tuesday night. One ordered a sandwich while the other used large-denomination bills to pay for the meal. The Sheriff’s Office says the duo ended up with extra money and left without the sandwich.
Both males were wearing shorts at the time of the incident. One was also wearing a white tank top and a dark Nike hat. The other was apparently in a black T-shirt and a Chicago White Sox hat.
If you see the suspects, do not approach them. Instead, or if you have information, call the Chase County Sheriff’s Office at 620-273-6313.
