The Emporia High boys soccer team suffered their first loss of the season Saturday. The Spartans were out scored by Kapaun Mount Carmel 5-2 in the Wichita South Titan Classic Championship match.
Elijah Williams gave Emporia High an early 1-0 lead. The match was tied at 1 at halftime. Hector Hernandez put the Spartans back in front. Kapaun would score 3 quick goals to take a lead they would not give up. The Spartans are now 3-1 and will next play Tuesday at Circle.
