Scattered showers and storms brought brief heavy rainfall to parts of the KVOE listening area near Emporia — at least according to KVOE’s WeatherTAP.com radar.
The KVOE studios were not on that list, receiving 0.10 inches of rain. The Emporia Municipal Airport received 0.21 inches. Other totals:
*Allen: 0.45 inches
*Bushong: 0.60 inches
The current forecast calls for warm but seasonal and dry conditions from when the current rainfall leaves the area by noon Sunday until Wednesday, with more unstable conditions for the back half of the week including several chances for showers and storms.
