Martin Truex Jr won the first NASCAR Monster Energy Cup play off race at Las Vegas Sunday night to take the lead in the play-off standings.
Kevin Harvick finished in 2nd place. Clint Bowyer, who started on the pole, finished in 25th place. He is in 15th place out of 16 in the standings.
There are two races remaining before the field is whittled to 12, with four drivers eliminated from the postseason following Charlotte. This coming Saturday they will be at Richmond.
