Parker, Colorado – Legend High School out scored the Emporia High football team 13-6 Friday night in a game played at Scott City.
A 53 yard touchdown run with 2:12 to play was the difference.
Emporia High scored first on a 13 yard Beau Baumgardner run with 3:54 to play in the 1st quarter. Legend would tie the score and it stayed that way until the final 3 minutes. Emporia High falls to 2-1, Legend is now 4-0.
The Spartans play at Topeka Seaman next Friday.
