Severe weather risks are looming over the KVOE listening area Friday and through the weekend.
The entire KVOE listening area is currently in a marginal risk for severe weather Friday. According to the national weather service, there is the possibility of scattered thunderstorms throughout the day, however, the possibility of those storms becoming severe is relatively low at this time.
Currently, Lyon, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties are in a flash flood watch until Sunday afternoon.
