The Emporia State volleyball team was swept by #6 Nebraska Kearney in 3 sets Friday night.
Kearney won the 1st set 25-19, they won the 2nd set 25-10 and the 3rd set 25-19. There were 5 ties in the 1st set and 7 ties in the 3rd set. 16 attack Errors and 8 serve errors also cost Emporia State. Coach Bing Xu said they did not stick to the game plan.
Yuchen Du led the offense with 6 kills. Emma Dixon had 17 assists and Shelby Innes finished with 15 digs.
The Lady Horents are now 4-5 for the season and play at Fort Hays State Saturday.
