Details are still pending following a one vehicle accident which occurred in the 2,000 block of north Kansas Highway 99 late Friday evening.
Emergency crews were called out shortly after 10:45 Friday evening. According to Emporia Fire Captain Jesse Taylor, the accident involved one vehicle which was located in the northbound ditch upon their arrival.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Newman Regional Health with what are being called “non-life threatening injuries.” The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
