The Emporia State soccer team was defeated by Washburn 3-1 Sunday.
The lone Emporia State goal came in the 83rd minute of play after Washburn had built a 3-0 lead. MacKenzie Dimarco scored her 5th goal of the season for Emporia State. The Lady Hornets are now 4-2 on the season. They play at Nebraska Kearney Friday.
