The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Bureau of Investigation have canceled the statewide silver alert for 78-year old Dale Ernest Milburn.
Milburn, a Burlington resident, was reported missing Tuesday evening. At the request of the Coffey County Sheriff’s Office, the KBI issued a statewide Silver Alert to help located Milburn who had not been seen since 4 pm Tuesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, Milburn was safely located in the Kansas City Area around 9 pm Tuesday.

The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office has requested a Silver Alert be issued to help locate an elderly Burlington resident
Officials are seeking information on the whereabouts of 78-year old Dale Ernest Milburn of Burlington who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Milburn was last seen turning south on US Highway 75 from Burlington in a white 2006 Chevy Silverado with the tag number 203GBU.
Milburn is 5’7″ tall and weighs 150 lbs with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jeans and a white Relay for Life t-shirt. Milburn has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is currently without his medication.
