The Emporia High football team shutout Topeka Seaman 33-0 in a weather shortened game Friday.
The Spartans scored on their first possession and never looked back.
Skyler Douglas scored the first touchdown on an 11 yard run.
John Miller scored on a 17 yard run . Miller also threw 3 touchdown passes before halftime.
Miller connected with Camden Kirmer on a 70 yard pass play.
Then connected with Skyler Beatty on a 20 yard pass play.
Closed out the scoring on a 40 yard pass play to Camden Kirmer.
The Spartans racked up 426 yards of total offense while holding Seaman to 106 yards.
John Miller rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. He also threw for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The game was halted with 2:02 to play in the 3rd quarter and called due to weather.
The Spartans are now 3-1 for the season. 3-0 in Centennial league play.
They will host Manhattan next Friday.
