One person suffered minor injuries after two trucks collided west of Americus on Friday.
Lyon County Deputy Jim Baker says an eastbound PAR Electric Contractors truck was on Road 230 and cresting a hill about half a mile west of Road C around 9:45 am. The driver did not see a pickup backing out of a driveway because the sun was in his eyes. The company truck then hit the pickup and pushed it into a tree line.
The pickup driver sustained minor injuries. Her name has not been released. The PAR driver was not hurt.
Nobody has been taken to the hospital at this time. Names have not been released. The investigation continues at this time.
