Tacos were consumed by the thousands Friday as Sacred Heart School held its 46th annual Mexican Supper.
If you don’t believe us, ask Principal Darby O’Neill, who saw a massive turnout at the church’s parish hall from start to finish.
O’Neill also credited students for selling tickets to the event. He says 95 percent of the school’s students met or exceeded their sales goal of 30 tickets.
Totals are pending. All proceeds go towards improvements or enhancements at the school, with much of this year’s money funding security system upgrades, teacher classroom allowances, playground mulch and floor cleaner equipment. Part of the money will also help fund a field day at the end of the school year.
