The Emporia High football team is about to begin the most challenging part of their schedule. In the next 4 weeks they they will play Manhattan, Highland Park, Topeka High and Junction City.
Manhattan, Topeka High and Junction City are a combined 10-2. Coach Corby Milleson says they are ready for the challenge.
Emporia High hosts Manhattan Friday night. The Spartans are 3-1 for the season and are sitting in 4th place in the West regional rankings. Top 8 teams will host a first round play-off game.
