The Emporia High volleyball team was defeated by Mill Valley and Ottawa Thursday night.
They lost to Mill Valley 16-25, 14-25.
They were defeated by Ottawa 21-25, 19-25.
Payten Redeker had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs.
Grace Xu finished with 9 assists.
The Lady Spartans will be playing in the Shawnee Mission Northwest Invitational Saturday.
