Madison picked up a 50-0 shutout win victory over Lebo Friday night.
Madison opened the scoring with a five-yard touchdown run by quarterback Ryan Wolgram in the first. Colton Fife would score three times in the third off a 38-yard touchdown pass from Wolgram and two touchdown runs from 34-yards and 3-yards out.
A six-yard run touchdown run from Madison junior Hunter Engel would put Madison up 36-0 at the half. In the second Madison closed out Lebo with a one-yard and 29-yard touchdown run from Fife.
Fife ended the night with five touchdowns and 158 yards of total offense. With some key players out injured Fife says he embraced the next man up mentality.
Madison Head Coach Alex McMillan says despite the win, he feels they could have performed better.
Madison had 291 yards of total offense on the night. Lebo managed 148 total yards of offense and was led by junior quarterback Devan McEwen with 122 passing yards.
With the win, Madison now improves to 5-0 on the season while Lebo falls to 3-2.
