The Kansas Jayhawks scored the first touchdown of the day in their showdown with Oklahoma, but the Sooners would score the next 42 points on the way to a 45-20 win over the Jayhawks Saturday.
Coach Les Miles saw some promise in the game.
Connor Stanley threw a 22 yard scoring pass to Daylon Charlot to give the Jayhawks a 7-0 lead.
In the 4th quarter Connor Stanley threw 2 touchdown passes to Stephon Robinson.
The Sooners racked up 545 yards of total offense, including 277 yards in the air and 268 yards on the ground.
The Jayhawks are now 2-4 for the season and 0-3 in the Big-12. The Jayhawks have a bye next week.
