The Friends of the Emporia Public Library Fall Book Sale is set to begin on Saturday, and event spokesperson Dee Schwinn says there will be a lot on hand at a reasonable price.
Proceeds from the sale serve as the driving force behind the library’s wide variety of programs such as kids concerts, summer reading programs, and weekly book discussions.
The Book Sale will follow normal library hours. Books will be full price Saturday through Monday with bag sales beginning on Tuesday at $10 per bag. Prices will then drop to $5 per bag on Wednesday and $2 per bag on Thursday.
